FB Thanksgiving Message to L.

I love your laughter, so I'm thankful for that. Your laugh and humor is infectious! I wish we were in the same city so I could laugh all the time like we used to do in the lunchroom and classroom! I frequently remember those times and it brings my spirit up even when it isn't down. :D

Thank you D, for your amazing marketing efforts!

Yay! These are two wonderful stories, D. Thank you for sharing your marketing successes with us. I have cc'd our district manager so he knows what a great job you are doing to bring in new clients. It sounds like you will build great relationships with both of these people and help them with several XXX also.

Please let me know their appointment dates, once scheduled. I would like to introduce myself to them if I am there when they come in to the office. It is such a wonderful relief to know that we have generous and kind people like you taking the extra step to help current and new potential clients. Keep up the amazing marketing outreach. Thank you for all you do!

Happy Thanksgiving,
Karen

Thank you, Boss!

Dear K,

It is a pleasure to be working with and for you also. I am grateful that you have always welcomed me with open arms and at the same time put money in my pocket!

Thank you for your encouragement, support, kindness and generosity.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Hugs,
Karen

Thank you for the pen set!

Wow! S! Thank you! How thoughtful of you to think of me and send me those beautiful gifts – the very cool Kaweco pen and refill cartridges, as well as the beautiful green pencil case. It brightens my day just to look at it.

You won’t believe this but I have been collecting everything in that color green lately. I will be working again for the next few months as an office leader/manager at XXX, and what you sent is a perfect match for my favorite color scheme for this time of year. How on earth did you know that I was looking for a case exactly in that color? And a matching pen to top it off!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will definitely keep it by my side as my magical writing tool for the rest of NaNoWriMo and beyond J.

Hugs to you,

Karen

Thank You for the Thank You Card

Dear A,

Thank you for the thank you card you purchased for all of us to sign and send in the name of the Philly region to the NaNoWriMo staff. It was a very thoughtful of you and a very kind gesture to share with all of us.

Staff of NaNoWriMo

This was a short note I wrote in a group card yesterday for the staff of NaNoWriMo -- National Novel Writing Month -- from writers from the Philadelphia region.

Dear NaNoWriMo Staff:

Thank you for getting my writing started and for keeping my writing going. You all are the best inspiration I've had for squeezing out my creative juices!

Thank you for the book list recommendations

Hi L!

It was so nice meeting you at the First Person Arts memoir writing class.

It will be nice to keep in touch. If you ever want to meet for coffee/tea/chocolate or for writing company, please let me know. I live near XXX, but am happy to go almost anywhere.

After this month I hope to continue with my novel (and hopefully some memoir writing), so it will be nice to have a friend who is considering writing along the same lines from time to time. Maybe we can get some writing under our belts and then join Lori for her class next year.

Below is the memoir list she shared with me. Thanks for sharing a few titles with me earlier today.

- K

Thank you! "Finding Your Voice" Memoir class

Dear Lori,

I want to thank you for the wonderful memoir class you taught over the past two Saturdays at the First Person Arts Festival.

You really boosted my creative juices. Your lessons gave me tools for getting started and your exercises gave me ideas for observing and writing on a daily basis. A simple walk to the mailbox is now an opportunity to reflect on life, dialog, relationships and stories.

Thank you also for your comments on the homework that I emailed to you. I didn't know that I had so many words and experiences to share. The assignment made me realize that if I just sit down and take the time to reflect, I can come up with treasured memories that I have long forgotten.

My husband and I would like to invite your husband and you over for dinner - before the holidays or after, whichever is more convenient for you. If you are interested, please send along a few dates when you have a chance, and we'll take it from there.

Thank you again,
Karen

Nice Fliers, J!

Dear J,

I wanted to say what a nice job you did on the XXX fliers. Thank you for sharing them with the leadership team yesterday to remind us what we can do to get fliers made and out to a wealth of potential clients. I truly appreciate that you are demonstrating to all of us how we can do marketing that will help each other throughout the district.

Sincerely,
Karen

Nice training leadership, D!

Dear D,

I wanted to thank you for a great training yesterday. You went out of the box by covering the source material from the source: By reminding us where to get more information about topics from the XXX guide, and then by walking us through the guide while getting insight and input from each of us in attendance, you really brought everything together from the YYY training series. You highlighted the key items that will help our team find, serve and keep clients, and you emphasized material that we all need to review to make sure we are well prepared for the upcoming ZZZ season.

Thank you for demonstrating knowledge and leadership in a unique and memorable way.

Sincerely,
Karen
